Bio

Born and raised in the Bronx, Jules found her love for music starting as a child performer with The Highbridge Voices Community Choir directed by Bruno Casolari.  This experience propelled her to performances on The David Letterman Show and an ensemble appearance with Celine Dion at Radio City Music Hall to name a few.  She then went on to appear as Young Nala in Broadway's Musical, The Lion King in its 2000-2001 season. In 2014 she placed as finalist at the Apollo Theater's Amateur Night.

Jules currently debuted her self-titled solo album. Aside from her solo pursuits Jules is also, front-woman of her jazz band and NYC based band, Jules and The Jinks whom won AFROPUNK's Battle of The Bands and went on to play the main stage of AFROPUNK Brooklyn Festival 2018. Her sound is jazz, funk, r&b, pop, rock, but most of all soulfully unique. Performing in the metropolitan area, highlight performances include: Mercury Lounge, Sony Hall, Minton's Playhouse, Rockwood Music Hall, Joe's Pub, Highline Ballroom, Manderley Bar at The McKittrich Hotel, Silvana, Shrine, Sofar Sounds, Treble Fridays, Piano's, Red Rooster, The Schomburg Museum, The Harlem Arts Festival in 2016, Afropunk Brooklyn Festival 2018, The Wynwood Yard for Miami Art Basel 2018 & Summer on The Hudson 2021.
