As a native New Yorker Jules developed love for music starting as a child performer with the Highbridge Voices Community Choir, which propelled her to performances on the David Letterman Show and an ensemble appearance with Celine Dion at Radio City Music Hall. She then went on to appear as Young Nala in Broadway's Musical, The Lion King in its 2000-2001 season.

As an adult was culled from Harlem venues such as Red Rooster, Paris Blues and other open mics to perform jazz standards in the garden of the Schomberg Center during it's summer season. Continuing the quest for vocal excellence, sought training with renown vocal coach Craig Derry and gained drive to place as finalist in the 2014 Apollo Theater's Amateur Night, Super Top Dog competition.

Scouted to head a Pop Soul band, becoming its lead vocalist, the ensemble emerged as Jules and the Jinks. Performing at established pubs throughout the city to rave receptions the band is now establishing a repertoire of original compositions to release to the market.
